Not enough hours

Lately, I have found myself wondering why there aren’t enough hours in a day. Keeping up a healthy and active lifestyle has allowed me to retain a lot of energy and stamina. Time is limited. Having the potential to but not being able to makes it feel… short. I find myself procrastinating too but I spend more time immersed at tasks that are at hand.

This year being about ‘clarity’ and 'output’ means I will be putting my attention and efforts into keeping my mental in the clear and producing output.

It’s nice that this blog is also reflective of the start I’m having to this outlook for the days ahead.

Life in Melbourne: On a full-day of work, which happens 2-4 times a week, I’d be getting up at 4:40am, starting work between 5am - 5:30am. I’d work until about 4pm with small breaks, and then work again for another 2 hours. During breaks, I’d fit in my meals, workouts, bits of studies and naps. The rest of the days I’d work 4-8 hours a day where I’d cook and tidy my place and help other people in my life with things. Though I strive to be as efficient as I can to maximise my chances of having some more leftover time, I would like to have more time.

I know it’s all possible. To get to where I want to doing what I want to after all that I’ve been though. Takes focus, guts, clarity and the rest of the good stuff.

Recently, I’ve been taking motivation from a bloke named Liam Adams. Legend. Bloke works as a full-time Sparkie (electrician) and runs 200km a week, and his PB for the marathon is 2:08:39. Unreal stuff. See, it’s all possible though. So why not get out there and do it. Whatever it is that I want to do.

Whenever I doubt myself, or want to do something but I feel as though I shouldn’t, I constantly ask myself - Why not?

  • Why not learn 1, 2 or even 3 or however many things you want to do? Maybe you can only juggle a few at a time but you don’t just have to do 1.

  • Why, why, why, why not? - I’m not stuttering here but you know, it’s possible.

I’m grateful either way. Every day. Moving on -.
